It is an attempt by someone to organize a select group of strange and multi-faceted personalities who apply toxic substances to other peoples homes while displaying illegal signs on their front lawns.
The contracts which guarantee payment for these services are useless because the organizer has to be a millionaire or a lawyer to enforce them. All painters are working towards masters degrees in law, tax accounting, psychology, and environmental science.
As a result, this organization attempts to pay bills with money its customers haven’t paid yet.
Even if it rains, the organization is required to meet its deadline. However, if the strange personalities should attempt to work in overcast weather, the customer will shoot them off of their ladders for “ruining her house.”
All other trades promise the “the painter will take care of it.” When electricians cut holes too big, when floor men splash stain on the walls, when carpenters add new pieces of wood, “the painters will take care of it.”
Everyone knows no matter what, it is the painters fault. If the gutters overflow, if the doors stick, if the taping is uneven, if the wood doesn’t match, it is the painters fault.
No painter ever goes to hell. He already works there.
